So today I went to the dentist. *Que scary slasher movie music* lol...Anyway, last week I was chewing gum and a felt something crunch in my mouth. I figured out it was one of my molar's and it had a cavity so I set up an appointment with a dentist to get it checked out. I was really nervous because everyone was telling me that I was gonna have to get a root canal. So they took some x-ray's, did some poking around and took some pictures of my teeth for me to see.
Total Damage: 10 cavities, a really deep cleaning and my wisdom teeth needing to be pulled.
Total Cost: over $5G's
...yeah I know, I cried too. In fact I'm still crying. I was suppose to be buying my sister's car soon but now I don't know how that's going to happen now. Poor Ryan, he's even trying to calm me down but it's not really working. I have this horrible habit of trying to take in everything all at once instead of taking it in strides. I know that we'll make it but I'm still scared. Anyway just pray for us please.

ReplyDeleteOuch! Have you thought about a second opinion? I'm guessing you have no dental insurance, eh? Ten cavities?!? I'm also guessing that you have been neglecting seeing the dentist on a regular basis. You could always join the army... they'd fix your teeth for free. Hey... I'm not laughing. I have a tooth that needs a crown (and possible root canal), but I'm old... and falling apart. LOL! You are always in my prayers.
